Two Pieces of Figural Pottery, Midwestern, late 19th or early 20th century, molded figure of a seated spaniel on base with heavily-incised hair and Albany-slip-glazed surface, the base with relief mark, "Souvenir 1877 F.M. King Co 1897;" paired with a sewer tile reclining lion doorstop. Spaniel with base chips and a paint to muzzle covering a chip. Lion with loss to one corner and chipping throughout. H (of spaniel) 7 1/2" ; L (of lion) 9 3/4".
