Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher with Applied Stag and Incised Foliate Motifs, attributed to the Wingender Pottery, Haddonfield, NJ, late 19th century, ovoid pitcher with footed base, narrow collar, and tooled collar moldings, the front decorated with a molded and applied design of a reclining stag, grooming itself between a bush and a stump, flanked on each side by incised foliate motifs. Cobalt highlights throughout. Includes original pewter lid with floral finial. Excellent condition with a minor glazed-over chip to left edge of spout. H 10".
