Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "Samuel Booker / Louisville, Ky.," Western PA origin, circa 1875, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring Samuel Booker advertising and five freehand stripes. Surface wear. Some wear to interior of rim and along bottom edge of rim. Some chipping to shoulder molding. A small base chip. H 8 1/4".
