Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Vase with Applied Decoration, Signed "Lanier Meaders," Cleveland, GA, circa 1975, tapering form with flared rim, decorated on the front and reverse with an applied clay grape vine featuring a cluster of grapes and corkscrewing vines flanked by detailed leaves. Surface covered in a mottled olive glaze. The applied grapes and leaves are composed of a lighter-colored clay, giving them a different color than the vase. Underside incised "Lanier Meaders."
