Five-Gallon Double-Handled Stoneware Jug with Herkimer, NY Advertising, NY State origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jug with tooled spout and applied handles, featuring the slip-trailed cobalt advertising, "M.A. Ingalls, / Liquor Dealer, / Herkimer, / N.Y.". Cobalt highlight to five-gallon capacity mark. Excellent size, form, color, and condition. Excellent condition with a minor chip to base of left handle and a tiny spout chip.
