One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Southeastern PA origin, circa 1855, ovoid pitcher with footed base and heavily-tooled collar, decorated around the midsection with a brushed swag and hanging flower motif. Floral decoration to collar and freehand dashes along spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent condition with a shallow chip to edge of spout and a 1 1/8" salt drip to far left side of pitcher's front.
