Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1840, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied tab handles, decorated on the front and reverse with a horizontal tulip motif. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals and a stripe of cobalt underneath each handle. A few shallow rim chips. Two shallow chips to end of one handle.
