Slip-Decorated Redware Jar, Mid-Atlantic or Southern origin, possibly Hagerstown, MD, early 19th century, cylindrical jar with tapered shoulder, decorated with marbled cream and manganese slip over an olive ground. Interior and exterior surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Significant restoration to surfaces of rim and shoulder. H 7 1/8".
