Two-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "TJA," Thomas J. Averett, Crawford County, GA, circa 1900, semi-ovoid jug with narrow spout, decorated with a streaked, olive-brown alkaline glaze. Handle impressed "TJA." A long, glazed-over surface fissure to base area, two minor handle chips, and a chip to underside.
