Fine Quart-Sized Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with footed base and short collar, decorated with a brushed design of a tulip emanating from a stylized ground. Swag decoration to spout and sides. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Desirable size. A small base chip on reverse. Some fry to cobalt. H 7 1/4".
