One-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "P. MUGLER & CO. / BUFFALO. NY," circa 1848-1852, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder and applied lug handles, decorated with a large brushed design of a flower emanating from a leafy stem. Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. An in-the-firing iron ping to one handle. Some mottling and minor flakes to surface.
