Large George Ohr Pottery Cup, Incised "Geo. E. Ohr," Biloxi, MS origin, late 19th or early 20th century, with semi-squared rim, footed base, and flared belly with coggled edge, the surface covered in a brownish-black gun metal glaze. Incised George Ohr signature on underside. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a few in-the-firing surface fissures near base and typical stilt marks to base. H (to top of handle) 4 3/8" ; Diam. (at widest point) approx. 5".
