Scarce Shenandoah Valley Multi-Glazed Redware Flowerpot, Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1890, wide-bodied, low-walled pot of semi-ovoid form with attached saucer and coggled edges, the lead-glazed surface decorated with streaks of cream, green, and brown. One of a few examples of this form that we have offered. Large losses to rim and some faint surface lines. Light saucer wear and a tight line to saucer. H 5 1/2" ; Diam. (across top) 10".
