Fine Tanware Pitcher, Western PA origin, fourth quarter 19th century, ovoid pitcher with heavily-stepped collar and flared opening, the body decorated with large fuchsia vine designs above a stripe at base. Collar decorated with three rows of brushed Albany slip dashes. Rim with draped decoration. Handle decorated with stripes. A skillfully potted and decorated example. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 7 1/4".
