Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Grapes Vase, Signed "Lanier Meaders", Cleveland, GA origin, circa 1975, ovoid vase with splayed base and flared rim, decorated on the front and reverse with an applied bunch of grapes flanked by looping vines and two well-detailed leaves. Surface covered in a dark-olive alkaline glaze. Underside incised with Lanier Meaders signature. A fine work for Georgia's premiere ceramic folk artist. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 12".
