One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "W ROBERTS BINGHAMTON NY", circa 1870, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a large slip-trailed design of a crested bird with striped breast and long tail, perched on a flowering vine. Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some light staining.
