Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "L.D. FUNKHOUSER / STRASBURG, VA", circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated with a series of brushed swags around the shoulder. A 6" inverted Y-shaped line to body. A small chip to exterior of rim. A small glazed-over chip to interior of rim. A shallow, in-the-firing base chip, which is glazed over.
