Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Inkwell, probably New York State origin, circa 1825, cylindrical form with three quill holes and central ink hole, the top surface covered in bold cobalt slip. Exceptional color. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a small chip to underside at edge. H 1 3/8" ; Diameter 3 3/4".
