One-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "JY", James Yaughn, Crawford County, GA, late 19th or early 20th century, cylindrical jug with narrow spout, the surface covered in a mottled dark-olive alkaline glaze. Impressed with James Yaughn maker's mark on handle. Essentially as-made condition with some in-the-firing clay/glaze residue to underside and a small glazed-over spout chip.
