Rare One-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug with Incised Signature, "CJB", Columbus Jackson Becham, Crawford County, GA, late 19th or early 20th century, squat-shaped, semi-ovoid jug with slightly-flared spout, the surface covered in an attractive gray-green alkaline glaze. Handle signed with the rare hand-incised initials, "CJB". A shallow chip to side of handle. Three small shallow spout chips and a slightly-larger, possibly in-the-firing spout chip.
