Two Pieces of Redware, PA origin, second half 19th century, a flowerpot with crimped rim and attached saucer, the surface decorated with splashed manganese over a tannish ground and covered in a clear glaze; paired with a small bowl-shaped jar with footed base, tooled rim, and heavy manganese decoration under a clear, with pencil notation on underside, "Hahnstown / Gantz pottery". Flowerpot with rim and base chips. Jar with wear to rim and several small base chips. H (of flowerpot) 5 1/8" ; H (of jar) 3 7/8"; D (of jar) 5 1/2".
