Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Figure of a Cat, possibly Ohio origin, late 19th century, molded figure of a seated cat on oblong base with raised eyes and mouth, the back with carved hole for use as a vase. Surface covered in Bristol-type glaze with streaked cobalt highlights throughout. A 3" section of in-the-firing chipping to base, probably in-the-firing. H 7".
