Two Pieces of Stoneware, NY State origin, circa 1885, a two-gallon jug and three-gallon cylindrical jar, both with similar slip-trailed designs of a crested bird perched on a branch. Jug in very nice condition with some surface staining, light residue to shoulder, a small glazed-over chip to interior of rim, and light base wear. Jar in very nice condition with a short line to rim on reverse, a short line and minor chip to left handle, a chip to opposite handle, wear to inner rim for lid, and some staining.
