Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jugs, Midwestern origin, 19th century, both of ovoid form, a three-gallon jug with cobalt highlights to the maker's mark, capacity mark, and handle terminals, stamped twice "I.M. MEAD & CO.", Mogadore, OH origin, paired with a three-gallon jug with floral decoration below a freehand "3". Mead jug with various firing flaws to surface, staining, and two minor base chips. Other jug with heavy chipping to spout.
