Two Rockingham Hanging Game Pitchers, American, second half 19th century, both with relief bird-form spouts, hound-form handles, and hanging game motifs, including a deer, a boar, a rabbit, and goose. Both decorated with streaks of reddish-brown and blue accents over a cream-colored ground. Larger example impressed with an X within a cross on underside. Chips to shorter pitcher. Taller pitcher with thin crack extending across underside and forming a Y at base, along with an additional faint, Y-shaped surface line to base. H (of taller pitcher) 10 1/4".
