Small-Sized Tanware Pitcher, Greensboro or New Geneva, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with flared spout, Albany-slip-decorated completely around the body with a finely-brushed fuchsia vine design. Rim decorated with brushed drapes. Base of collar decorated with a brushed stripe. Handle decorated with stripes as well as a highlight to the lower terminal. Provenance: Recently found in Florida. Excellent condition with a small rim chip, probably in-the-firing, and some bubbling to Albany slip around rim area. H 5".
