One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1820, ovoid jar with applied tab handles and semi-rounded rim, decorated on the front and reverse with a two-stemmed plant bearing three-petaled blossoms. Cobalt highlights to tops of handles and handle terminals. A 2 1/2" in-the-firing crack from rim, beside one handle, including a very faint, approximately 2" line descending from it. Minor base chips.
