Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1825, cylindrical jar with footed base, rounded shoulder, and squared rim, decorated around its circumference with a brushed tulip and swag motif. Cobalt stripe below rim. Very nice condition with one rim chip, a minor 3/8" line in rim, and a tiny, glazed-over rim nick.
