Three Slip-Decorated Redware Plates, attributed to the Singer Pottery, Haycock Township, Bucks County, PA, fourth quarter 19th century, all with coggled edges and yellow slip decoration, including one with unusual circular dripped design. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market lot, discovered by a Singer family descendant in the 1950s in one of several boxes stored away in the eaves of the Singer Pottery warehouse. Largest plate with rim chips and knife marks to interior. Middle-sized plate with several cracks from rim, two rim chips, rim wear, and some surface flakes to interior. Smallest with heavy exfoliation to interior and a flake to edge near rim. Diameter (of largest) 11 1/4".
