Six Pieces of Utilitarian Redware, attributed to the Singer Pottery, Haycock Township, Bucks County, PA, fourth quarter 19th century, four sections of interlocking, wheel-thrown pipe, along with two ovoid redware jars with glazed interiors. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market lot, discovered by a Singer family descendant in the 1950s in one of several boxes stored away in the eaves of the Singer Pottery warehouse. One pipe with heavy chipping. All pipes in otherwise good to excellent condition. Smaller jar in excellent condition with minor wear. Larger jar with shallow chips and heavy wear to rim, some wear to interior, wear to one handle, and whitish residue to exterior and interior. H (of longest pipe section) 13" ; H (of larger jar) 12 1/4".
