Two Stoneware Flasks, Northeastern U.S. origin, early 19th century, one with flattened sides and cobalt-highlighted spout, New York State, New Jersey, or New England origin; the other with slightly-flattened sides and heavily-tooled spout, probably New Jersey origin. Cobalt-decorated flask in excellent condition with a minor in-the-firing nick to body. Other flask in excellent condition with minor base wear and some tiny pieces of in-the-firing residue to surface. H (of cobalt-decorated flask) 8 1/4".
