Polychrome-Glazed Art Pottery Vase with Lizard Handles, Signed and Dated "F.W. / 1882", ovoid vase with flared collar and white-and-blue-glazed surface, the handles in the form of two handle-modeled lizards with green-and-blue-glazed bodies and pink eyes. Underside with incised and cobalt-highlighted initials and date, "F.W. / 1882", below and brushed cobalt cross. Clay appears to be yellowware. Excellent condition with a small rim chip. H 11 1/4".
