George Ohr Pottery Dish, Stamped "GEO. E. OHR / BILOXI, MISS", circa 1895-1900, with ruffled rim and heavily-crumped midsection, the surface decorated with a greenish-blue glaze over an orange ground. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, purchased by the consignor from Jim Carpenter at his shop in Montague, NJ in the 1970s. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 1 1/4" ; Diameter 4".
