Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "L. NORTON / BENNINGTON", VT origin, circa 1830, ovoid jug with tooled spout decorated with a brushed tulip with open center. Brushed cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Minor spout and base chips. A 3/4" in-the-firing iron ping near base and a few other minor firing flaws to surface.
