Shenandoah Valley Glazed Redware Flowerpot, attributed to Anthony Bacher, Winchester, VA or Thurmont, MD, circa 1880, tapered pot with tooled shoulder and crimped rim, the surface covered in a light wash of cream-colored slip with overlying streaks of manganese, under a clear lead glaze. Wear to rim. A minor area of surface exfoliation near base. A minor base chip. H 6 3/8".
