One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "WHITES / BINGHAMTON", New York State origin, circa 1870, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a bird with turned head and striped body, perched on a stylized branch. Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Spider lines to shoulder and handle.
