Three Pieces of Stoneware, American, 19th century, a one-gallon ovoid jug, impressed "W", probably Ohio River Valley; a one-gallon jug with tulip decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin; and a one-gallon jar with cobalt floral decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market lot, from a sixty-year private collection. "W" jug in excellent condition with a small U-shaped line at base and an in-the-firing contact mark / surface chip to left of "W". Decorated jug in excellent, essentially as-made condition with some light staining. Jar with rim chips and a short line at base on reverse.
