Three Glazed Redware Molds, American, probably Pennsylvania origin, 19th century, a detailed fish mold with lead-and-manganese glaze and two circular food molds with manganese decoration under a clear lead glaze. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market group, from a sixty-year private collection. Fish mold with wear to rim and surface, as well as large in-the-firing contact marks. Smaller circular mold with typical wear to rim and central tube. Larger circular mold with small chips and wear to central tube, a line to central tuber, and two large in-the-firing contact marks to side. L (of fish mold) 10 3/8".
