Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Maryland and Southern U.S. origin, 19th and 20th centuries, a one-gallon cylindrical jar with clover motif on both sides, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1870; paired with an alkaline-glazed flower frog with cobalt highlights to openings, Southern U.S. origin, 20th century. Provenance: Property of a New York State collector. Baltimore jar in very nice condition with minor chips to exterior of rim, most of which are glazed over, and small chips to interior of rim. Flower frog in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of flower frog) 5 3/4".
