Miniature Spongeware Flask with Rooster Motif, probably English, Inscribed "AG", late 19th century, featuring cobalt decoration over a white ground; one side featuring the image of a rooster below the inscription "TAKE A PINCH / OLD COCH", the reverse with elaborate floral motif. Pages with sponge decoration. Pages inscribed with initials, "AG". Provenance: Property of a New York State collector. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. L 2 7/8".
