Two Western PA Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jugs, circa 1875, a half-gallon jug with stenciled leaf motif, stenciled "JAS. HAMILTON & CO. / GREENSBORO, PA."; paired with a one-gallon jug, stenciled "HAMILTON / & / JONES / GREENSBORO / PA.". Half-gallon jug with some staining and a short line at base, most likely in-the-firing. One-gallon jug with a drilled hole in base and underside, a small chip to underside at edge, some in-the-firing contact marks to surface, a glazed-over stone ping to shoulder, and three chips to molding at base of spout.
