Slip-Decorated Redware Plate, Pennsylvania origin, probably Philadelphia, 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated in yellow slip with two foliate motifs and designs with wavy ends. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, purchased in Pennsylvania years ago. Rim chips. Typical light surface wear to interior. Some light staining. Diameter 10 3/4".
