Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Mid-Atlantic origin, circa 1875, a one-and-a-half-gallon cake crock with floral decoration, attributed to R.J. Grier, Chester County, PA; paired with a half-gallon cylindrical jar with swag decoration, Baltimore, MD origin. Cake crock in excellent condition with two short, tight lines on side of crock, not visible on interior. Jar with numerous small rim chips and an in-the-firing line to underside.
