Fine Slip-Decorated Redware Charger, Huntington, Long Island, New York origin, circa 1807-1860, with coggled edge, the interior decorated in yellow slip with an impressed pinwheel design featuring five heart-shaped ends, surrounded by impressed yellow-slip scrollwork. Provenance: Ex-Donald Matties Collection. L-shaped line to shoulder area. A small rim chip. Some typical light wear to interior. Diameter 12 1/8".
