Small-Sized Redware Plate with Slip Decoration, Philadelphia, PA origin, circa 1840, with coggled rim, the interior decorated in yellow slip with wavy trails flanking two foliate motifs. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, from a sixty-year private collection. Very nice condition with two rim chips. Diameter 5 1/4".
