Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher, Crawford County, GA origin, mid 19th century, approximately one-gallon, ovoid pitcher with tall flaring collar, the midsection accented with two tooled lines, the surface covered in a green alkaline glaze. Fine, thin-walled construction. Heavy chipping to spout and rim. A 4 1/2" Y-shaped hairline to spout area.
