Small-Sized Stoneware Jar with Alkaline Glaze, possibly Edgefield, SC origin, mid 19th century, cylindrical jar with tooled body, rounded shoulder, and semi-rounded rim the surface covered in a greenish alkaline glaze with dark streaks throughout. Desirable size. Excellent condition with a 1 1/8" hairline from rim. H 6 1/2".
