Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1875, ovoid pitcher with tall, flaring collar, decorated in Albany slip with a sweeping fuchsia vine design. Freehand stripes to rim, base of collar, and base of pitcher. Dash decoration to spout and collar. Albany slip highlight to upper handle terminal. Three rim chips and a minor rim nick. Surface appears to be varnished. H 9 1/4".
