Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with short, flaring collar, decorated in Albany slip with a fuchsia vine design. Collar decorated with Albany slip dashes. Albany slip stripes to bottom edge, base of collar, and rim. Handle decorated on left and right edges with Albany slip dashes. Albany slip highlights to handle terminals. Provenance: David Musser Collection. Very nice condition with a small rim chip on reverse, a minor nick on top of rim, a few minor nicks to interior of rim, and small traces of old green paint to spout. H 9 1/4".
