Very Rare Diminutive Redware Loaf Dish with Profuse Slip Decoration, probably Philadelphia, PA, late 18th or early 19th century, drape-molded, octagonal dish with coggled exterior edge and an unusual rounded molding bordering the interior base. Surface decorated with three rows of heavily-applied yellow slip stripes. Excellent size and decoration. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. Broken into one large and three smaller sections and restored. L 7 3/4" ; W 6 7/8".
